Fundraising Project

We have successfully raised funds for the purchase of the baby heart monitor for the Maternity unit of the Great Western Hospital . The monitor has been bought at a cost of over £7500 , and is up and running in the Antenatal Ward.(see images below) A huge thankyou goes to all members of the public who supported this charity. Some of the notable contributors are mentioned below.

Highworth couple John and Marian Jenkins celebrated their Golden Wedding and instead of accepting presents they collected contributions amounting to £300 for the fetal monitor charity

Ladbrokes donate £3700 from fundraising evening at the greyhound stadium.

Many thanks to Brenda and Steve for inviting us and setting up a great evening which made £192.70 for the baby monitor fund.
Congratulations to the couple who won £100 of shopping vouchers provided by the outlet centre. Thanks also to Shirley Ludford for her organisational abilities and support.

Under the Knife back together. What a night. Thanks to Brian Webster (bass) Val Stapleton (vocals) Nick Weaver (vocals and 1 man show!), Rick Ware (percussion) and Andrew Bond (guitar, keyboards and an unforgettable rendition of 'California girls' which became 'Cirencester girls' amongst others.
Jamie, thanks for your sound engineering!

Really big thanks to Val Mortimer and Sue Meakin who really organised the whole evening. So far over £720 banked and more on the way following successful auctioning of goods for the baby monitor charity.
